Real Women Have Curves

I was introduced to this movie by a professor in school. This movie shows the typical traditional values of a mother and how she wants to influence her daughter to do what she thinks is right. Portraying the resistance of American influences, the motherly figure behaves absurdly to demoralize her daughter so that her daughter will stay by her side. This is a movie that shows how traditional values are being "interrupted" by western influences. A movie worth watching!

米国の影響でアメリカで育ってきた若者の考え方もだんだん変わっていく。その事実を認めてないお母さんは娘をアメリカ人の態度に変わる前に、無理あり娘の自由や将来を邪魔する。。。面白くて、自分の自信をわいてくれる映画です。

A heart warming, touching, sensational family movie. This is about a man trying to save his only son who needs a surgery. However, due to poverty he and his family did not have an insurance that would cover the operation cost. He was devastated and wanted help. He really did whatever he can to save his child.....

Definitely a movie worth watching. I cried again and again even after watching it for several times.
This movie kind of pricks people's conscience and make them recall about how they treat their own parents.

病気と戦って、諦めない意志、明るく生きていく勇気の少女の物語です。
彼女は体のコントロールができていなくても、頑張って前を見て生きていく勇気を尊敬します。すごく感動的な映画です。フィックションではありません。実際にあったことをモデルにした物語です。ぜひぜひ見てください！

This is one movie that I would recommend watching. It maybe a slow moving movie but it is definitely a heart-warming production. As the title says, 1 liter of tears...I agree...this movie makes you cry. I have to say this is a very down-earth-movie as it is actually a real life story of a Japanese girl who is trying to fight her disease. The ending is just indescribable. Two thumbs up!

A little introduction of myself...

I landed myself in this wonderful paradise slightly a year a ago in 2006. Just like everyone else,there is always a reason for why we leave our hometown to venture in a foreign country. At least for me, it was for school. I am furthering my education and at the same time I am enjoying the absolutely wonderful Sun, Sand and Beach!

My thoughts on Hawaii

I feel that Hawaii has the best weather in the world. People are always relaxed and lay-back in Hawaii. Honolulu, where I am pursuing my education, is a city filled with fun, fun and more FUN!
